3) Miley Cyrus says smoking salvia was "no big deal" and is moving on with her life. TMZ reports after incriminating video of the Disney star smoking the drug surfaced, she reportedly told friends that she's "moving on with her life" amd is focusing on her new movies.
*We suggest she and Linsey Lohan share a room at rehab… Hell! They can be bunk buddies in the Disney wing!!!*
2) Mariah Carey and her "young- enough- to- be- her- son" husband, Nick Cannon finally lay the rumor to rest that they are expecting twins. e!Online reports that, direct from the horses mouth (that'd be Nick…not Mariah) that the rumor is true!
*Cool! Congrats Mariah! Now you'll have three underaged mouths to feed!*
AND THE #1 TOP PICK….
1) Classic comedian and television Icon Betty White has been honored yesterday by being formally inducted into the California Hall of Fame. Contra Costa Times reports that the consummate "Golden Girl" has been honored this year along side other Californian notables the likes of Facebooks founder Mark Zuckerberg, and former secretary of state George Shultz, and painter Wayne Thiebaud.
*"Why is this notable" You ask? Well… lets consider how BAD ASSED this 80 something actress is for her latest feat:
She's the only surviving cast member of one of the few memorable sitcoms of the 90's (GOLDEN GIRLS)
- She mounted a comeback in her career with probably one of the funniest commercials for Snickers by taking a tackle in a muddy football field… AT 80+ YEARS OLD!!!!
- She got the honor not by begging millions to be her friend like some honorees but being the skilled comic genius that was invited into millions of peoples homes for more decades than some of the other honorees have been alive (no offense to them but… JUST SAYING)… and all that with the theme song "Thank You For Being a Friend".
- AND… She's bad enough to put not only one flailing show back on the map with a guest starring appearance (yes… I'm talking about SNL), BUT her star credit is so thick, the launch of her new sitcom, Hot in Cleveland, was not only one of the highest rated premieres of the season, BUT ALSO put TVLAND officially on the map with anyone under 35!!!!
To that we take our hats off to you Ms. White and congratulate you on your honor by placing you induction at the top of our Entertainment Top 3!!!
