Cain’s campaign vows to continue on as is, however, one hopes that for the better of the political dialog and conversation that is so vital to improving out country right now, that he’ll gracefully bow out so that we can focus on what matters.
Whether or not any of these allegations are true, they have overrun the Herman Cain campaign. It’s simply how it is. As such, if Mr. Cain and his campaign truly care about the country, I hope they are seriously considering calling it a day and stepping aside. There are too many distractions and too many questions. Even if you think it’s not fair, sometimes you have to admit defeat and walk out for the good of the rest of those involved.
