I’m starting to get embarrassed for Mitt Romney… now he’s had to start behaving like Donald Trump in order to get jeering cheers from a friendly crowd during a stump speech.
I am sick and tired of Mitt Romney’s bullshit! …. There, I said it….
And the same junk from his campaign, the Mitt Romney campaign response: “He was speaking off the cuff… he didn’t mean anything by it… he just wanted to point out that he was born in Michigan…”
If what Mitt Romney’s people say is true, then Mitt Romney is the dumbest presidential candidate in the history of the country.
EVERYONE knows that if you mention asking for a birth certificate that it is, yet again, perpetuating the 1000000 times proven wrong claim that Obama is not a real American, not “legitimate”, and most definitely “other” than the white man… all those white folks who cheered at the comment… and then Mitt smiled…. but of course, “he didn’t mean it.”
Why hasn’t the non-crazy part of the Republican party learned from all of this? Over the last month it has been made perfectly clear that the majority of the nation gasps in disbelief at some of the republican base policy platforms. The country is NOT literal in their religion as the republican base. The country understands the total hypocrisy behind wanting small government and personal freedom while simultaneously passing laws that restrict civil rights of minorities, gays, and women who might not think they should live under a code established when people lived in huts.
And yet… the Republican Party keeps the crazies, because otherwise they would lose every time. It’s a deal with the devil.

For all you sane republicans out there: You don’t have to BE a democrat… you just have to be someone who is willing to work, talk, and compromise with people who have different values than you do. If you can do that: leave your party, because the republican party doesn’t want anyone who is not a religious zealot hell-bent on never getting culturally beyond the 15th century.
Self-proclaimed Republicans: you are most likely NOT a republican by the standards of the republican party, so re-register as an Independent and stop the insanity.
Now that Mitt Romney is trying to end a bad week he caters to all the race bating crap. I’m sick of it. Lying on the campaign trail every single day, cheating on taxes (but legal, of course), won’t talk about his own religion, whining about negative ads when his campaign does even worse to his opponents, and demonstrating a complete inability to stand for even one thing he believes in other than making, and KEEPING, as much money as he can… more than any human being or family would ever need.
Yeah… quite a guy. Real moral strength.
