A line that many will remember from Mitt Romney’s speech at the Republican National convention was that the best feeling you had for Obama as President was the day you voted for him – implying that every day since has been worse.
What other days have been good days since Obama took office? What other days since Obama was elected president in 2008 have been good days for America? Best days for people living in America?
Possible best days since voting for Obama for Americans:
- President Obama signing the Lily Ledbetter Act: equal pay for women for equal work.
- President Obama signing the Affordable Health Care Act, helping people get insurance who have pre-existing conditions, health coverage on parents plans until 26 years old, preventative health services for every American, the list of benefits goes on regardless of what Republicas want to say.
- President Obama saying that he feels that gay couples should have the same rights as other couple. Civil rights have always been a founding belief in America.
- Osama Bin Laden finally not being a threat to the world anymore. That was a good feeling for the world, not just America.
- Having countries around the world be positive about the United States of America for the first time in this century.
How about your list of good feelings? What would you add to this list?
People actually make lists… lists that I imagine a lot of people in this county don’t know about:
It’s not about what Rush Limbaugh ad Glenn Beck preach to make money, this is about what has ACTUALLY been achieved by the President. Time for facts.
